Cardiovascular disease refers to conditions that include wrinkled or blocked veins that can prompt a heart stroke, chest pain (angina), arrhythmia and mayocardial infarction.

  • Eat healthy: We need to eat healthy diet to keep our body fit and healthy. Take less saturated fat and one fat we need to avoid i.e. trans fat, It can be increase the risk of heart disease, because this trans fat can intercept arteries by increasing your bad cholesterol level and  decreasing your good cholesterol level. Add omega 3 fatty acids in your diet, it may help to reduce the inflammation and also may lowering the risk of stroke and heart failure.

  • Curb your cholesterol level: Body needs cholesterol to stay fit and healthy but maintenance of cholesterol level in your body can reduce the stroke or heart attack. Take cholesterol - lowering foods in your diet such as legumes, nuts, avocados and fatty fish.

  • Manage your blood pressure: Uncontrolled high blood pressure can be dangerous for your heart health, if you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, you may be stressed over taking prescription to cut your numbers down. You can make lower your blood pressure by making some changes in your lifestyle such as eat less sodium and more potassium, add high protein foods in your meal, cutting back on caffeine and take less amount of alcohol you drink.

  • Stop smoking: Smoking decrease the amount of oxygen in body and harm arteries walls and also increase the harshness of blood vessels. Smoking can cause atherosclerosis, increases clotting, can cause thickness of blood and fills your lungs with tar. And also can effects the vessels that direct supply the blood to the heart and other parts of your body.

  • Eat dark chocolate: Dark chocolate maintain the blood circulation and lower the cholesterol level in your body. It contain some substances that protect cardiovascular system. Cocoa bean is rich in flavonoids that assist protect plants from environmental toxins and it can be found in various foods (fruits and vegetables). 


  • Be active: Be physically active can help protect heart disease. we need at least 2 to 3 hours of moderate aerobic activity every week. A ten minute walk can help decrease your stress levels. physical activity includes walking, dancing, and biking.
